Car looks to be overly high

Hi guys, I recently bought a Daimler and have been working my way thru a multitude of niggles..the one I'm stuck on is the car looks too high, that the suspension seems too high/hard on all four corners. After reading what I can here I'm thinking of letting the air out the system at the block in the boot and letting it re gas itself. Good/bad idea? Any thoughts why it would be stuck on 'hard'?

The air from where & what ?! Are you sure you have a X308 ?!
