I can also change where the air blows to and that seems to work fine. It sounds almost like its making some sort of fluttering sound and that there is some sort of resistance to the air flow. Initially, I noticed what appeared to be a little more dust than ususal when I tried turning the fan up. Is there an easy way to look for where the air supply comes in to see if maybe something is making an obstruction. I once had to clean a mouse nest out of my range rover. I dont think its that because the weather has not been that cold yet. As always, any suggestions appreciated.
I don't know if it could be similar or not, but my 1966 Mustang constantly sucks in leaves. These make the sound you are describing due to the leaf rubbing on the fan squirrel cage, and eventually, they blow out the vents at my feet. Not sure if the Jag has a completely open system like that to allow a leaf in.

Super Sport,

Right church, right pew, different occupant. Hopefully this guy sorted his problem out, the post was six months ago. But several times I have found big chunks of insulation foam from the fresh air flaps stuck in the squirrel cages, and the results are similar. A big enough piece, and you'd swear one of the blower motors is going to exlode. The whole dash will vibrate, and it's all good after you fish the piece of foam out.
