Hello,

I`m having problem with 98m XJ8 3.2l V8

Changed thermostat with metal housing and water pump.

Cooling fan goes on when the temperature line is on the middle and later when the engine comes hotter, cooling fan goes off.

Which parts can cause that ?

Also I changed cooling fan relay.

Give me suggestions what to look.

 

genuine Jaguar fan relay? temp sensor bad?

 

fan relay is genuine, I haven`t checked the temp sensor, but I will try to change it.

any suggestions?

 

the problem is still unresolved......

 

Not sure but I would expect this to be normal behavior... It clicks the fans on when the coolant rises above X temp or always when the A/C is running.
