this is the pic of my throttle body before i cleaned it...nasty looking eh

did you follow it with a hard reset?

Yes...I followed by a hard reset...holding the negative batt cable to the postive for 60 secs...I am getting about 1-2 miles better to the gallon...and notice that acceleration is smoother...a job well worth it...
