Hello,

Sort of an unusual question but; I was wondering if anyone would know if the driver door is the same on a 1995 X300 car as an X308 car? I would like to swap the door out on my 308 but it's rather hard to find a red one. I can get a red one but is from a 1995. They look the same on the outside but I'm pretty sure the interior is different and so am not sure if i could swap my door trim. It's good distance from my house so I'd rather not drive there just to find out that it's incompatible.

The latches are the same BUT...............
The interior release handle is VERY DIFFERENT.

I have never tried to interchange but Veneer is also different.

 

In your place I tend to look somewhere like Jag classic parts & compare the part numbers. Doesn't prove it won't work if they differ, but does prove it will if they are the same.

agree. the door panel (metal) should be the same but the interior door card isn't

 

The chances of finding a color match is good, however finding one that
is not faded more than yours is not.
