Hi- I'm new to this forum. I have a 1999 xj8. Recently I seemed to have broken the cable of driver side door. It won't open from inside. 2nd- the electronic lock on passenger side wont lock. 3rd- it seems to burn oil. I have to add about a quart a month. Is this normal?

Are you asking for help of just making statement?

Oil consumption is based on miles. How many miles are you driving between adding oil? If you are driving 4,000 miles per month, a quart ever month is not bad.
