I know it's hard to believe but my driver's side lock actuator has died. Right? after 19 years,,lol. I spent a lot of time taking it all apart and confirmed the solenoid is NFG. (No Friggin Good)
Having a hard time finding one, new or used. Any suggest sources? new or used? Of course I'm a bit of a DYI guy and willing to take another couple hours to replace it. I spent a few hours taking off the door panel and all associated guards and parts to remove the whole driver side door latch. Not fun, as many can attest.

The actuator doesn't not have the "power" to push and pull the actuator anymore. Kinda vibrates as it tries to work.. Then there are times it does nothing.

 

I have one because years ago I thought mine was bad but it turned out it wasn't. I'm assuming it acts the same whether you activate it with the dash button, key fob or cable??

 

surprised you haven't found one on Ebay, there are some on there. You may have to buy the whole lock mechanism, but found sometimes that is cheaper than just buying the plunger. Just recently did mine and thats were I found mine.
