Hey all, the car has been doing great....

But she needs a carrier bearing...

I am figuring the VDP Non S/C driveshaft is different than the S/C VDP because of the transmission difference....

Does anybody have the DL on this...TIA Gerry


PS my origional plan was to have my local Drivetrain specialist's cut and repair..

We have Fleetpride here, and they really seem to be able to do anything...

But swapping for a low milage use if possible would be cool, and probably cheaper in the end..

Likely different.

The parts catalog would be the definitive answer.

 

Its not just the length difference its the circumfrence too...

If the reg VDP is the same d
saft but longer on the trans end, then i could just have it shortened and use it..

But if its not as beefy in diameter, then its useless....

Then i am forced to rebuild mine, find a used speceific VDP S/C, or buy NEW..and i really dont wanna do that....

someone must know, as i dont have the parts catalog...

Is there a place to download the catalog? thanks guys....

 

They are different ... Why not get a lighter one made from aluminum?
