"EyeLid" Lightbulb Out - 2005 XJ 8 L
Hello-
I noticed this evening that the upper bulb in the Main (High) Beam light is out. Removing the rear cap, I am able to access the rear of the 'tube' which contains the upper and lower bulb. I am, however, unable to reach in far enough to replace the bulb.
My book does not show procedure for replacing these "eyelid" bulbs. What is the standard procedure for replacement of this bulb?
Please see the photos below showing the drivers side with proper lights lit and passenger side with 'eyelid' bulb out.
Also, would this possibly be covered under select certified program?
Thank you very much-
