Default Fail safe mode 98 XJ8L

I had 4 new tires put on and an alignment today. After I picked her up and drove a mile away I entered the highway where I felt a vibration in the steering wheel followed by a loud "pop" when my gauges went dead and went into fail safe mode. I was towed to the shop where the scanner can't even pull codes. The dash reads, "traction .. fail, stability... fail, suspension... fail, transmission... fail, and incorrect part installed. Can anyone help? Thanks...
