I have a 2002 XJ8 Vanden Plas with ivory interior. It did not come with floor mats so I need to buy some. I understand it originally came with lambswool mats but they shed all over everything. At least that's what I've read. I need some recommendations. I want the same color that came with the Ivory interior originally.

 

Having the same issue. My lambswool mats weren't with the car either.

 

Got a quote from the dealership today on the lambswool of about $460 for a set of 4. Regular mats are $168 for a 4-set.

 

Does anyone know the original color of the mats for the ivory interior?

Mine don't shed. When I bought my Jag, I was lucky because the PO had just thrown them in the trunk. Maybe you can find a used set on eBay or somewhere that sells used parts.

 

Sable. Thanks, luc. Now, does anyone have any idea where to get true sable mats on the Internet? I can find mats but they have colors like mocha but no sable. Hard to tell on the screen which color is closest to sable.

 

Fitted car mats ensure you have no problems with bad fittings, or with car mats getting stuck under the pedals. Also, unless the car mats are fitted, they tend to get creased up, & move.

 

Thanks, MarkJohn but do you know where I can find the color sable? That seems to be my only obstacle now. I haven't been able to find an after-market place that stocks that color and I want to be as true to the original as I can.
