Yesterday while cleaning the rug, I notice a lump in the rug. I tried pressing it down and it wouldn't move.
I remember of going over a speed bump and bottoming it out, so I go under the car and notice the front passenger side jack point is up in the car.
I don't have a problem cutting and welding a floor pan, but it looks like the XJR has a pancake style floor pan. Meaning there is a top and bottom that needs to be welded.
I have helped welded floor pans before, is the XJR a double side floor pan or a single sheet metal style.
I will be going to junk yarding to find one a decent shape one.

GGG, thanks for the link, I can see it is nothing special, just a norm cut and weld job. I might just get a sheet of automotive sheet metal and get it over and done with.

Yep had the dreaded rust attack my car in a few different areas, managed to get it sorted!! know doubt it will re-appear somewhere else
