Hi again to all my friends on sight..... My XJ8 has 124000 kilometres on it and I would like to renew all the front suspension bushes etc . My question . Is it possible to purchase a kit which has all the bushes etc for the front suspension, rather than try a piece by piece replacement of the worn areas ?

Yes, but ... the kits have been found to be of inferior quality.

I won't make the mistake of pointing readers at their site again.

 

I recently got all front bushings / ball joints / arm links replaced on my '01. I purchased all the parts independently, and had them installed by mechanic. Cheers!

 

Thanks for that , did you by any chance write down exactly what you purchased ? If so could you pass it on to me . (I have one of those discs that show all the parts for the Jag but for me it's hard to get the info I need ).... Thanks again ... Alan

- MNC-1350-AA, lower ball joints; JLM-21380, upper ball joints : bought at Welsh
- CBC5523, bushings; MNE1360BB, bushings; 143101-5235, stab. bar links : bought at RockAuto (bushings are URO and link Beck/Arnley)


I know many here don't recommend URO brand - FYI. I took the "risk".
