fuel rail pressure 2003 XJ8
My fuel rail pressure is between 53 to 56 psi.
My bank 2 running Fuel rich. tripping codes like P175 / P 300 cyl 1, 3 , 5, 8
Is the fuel pressure to high??
I have checked ox sensors cleaned Maf sensor changed fuel injectors. no difference.
Thanks for advise.

43 PSI after the FPR drops it down but I can certainly be wrong as should be in the engine manual
The higher pressure would cause fuel mixture to be rich until the regulation would bring it down limited to what the ' Maps " can calculate and command for the pulse width

Thank you for the correct pressure Parker7.
After reading a lots of threads I found one that had starting problem after the engine was warm. he had an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator.
it got solved by purchasing the OEM pressure regulator.
My original failure was one fuel injector stopped working and I changed all 4 of them on that bank.
While doing this job The fuel regulator starting to leak.
I of course bought an aftermarket regulator. It worked great for a while then it started with hard to start after the engine got warm.
This was my 1st sympton of something was not right.
After this it was getting worse and worse. I have ordered the OEM fuel pressure regulator.
I will let you know if this take care of my problem but since I have 10 to 13 psi higher than it should be I hope It will.
will let you know next week.
Thanks
Leif
