Managed to get JTIS running on a old laptop running XP. So that it is handy for use, I have installed it in the trunk. A USB cable connects it with the ECM so that I get an alert when a part is wearing out. Now I have that elusive Jag part number at my fingertips. I am running Akeboneo ceramic brake pads so they will not be covered by JTIS, unfortunately. But the low dust and long life is compensation I suppose.

My anti-virus software detected a Hidden Trojan in the JPEC.exe file from post #75. So I went back to post #1 to grab JEPC.rar, and finally succeeded in installing and running JEPC on my Lenovo Windows 10 Laptop. Thank you so much Jim.

I downloaded JPEC.exe from post #75. For whatever reason it would not extract to the C: root drive so I made a new folder and then copied the files from the new folder to the c: drive.
Copied C: drive link to desktop and logged in.

Next, installing JTIS; fingers crossed.

Thanks Jim.

Just tried mine, I can change the language on the log on page and it changes the menu buttons in the program but doesn't change the actual content language from English.
If you can't log in and the language selection does nothing it sounds like your install may be corrupted. Have you tried deleting it and re-installing?

Hi Burak,

I'm desperately after the Jaguar EPC 2013 including F Type parts.

Can you please PM me the torrent? I can't seem to PM you (maybe my account is too new).

Thanks

Ciaran

Here is the information on the JEPC folders and files on the PC hard drive:

Note that the number of folders and files are the same on the DVD and the PC hard drive, but the DVD JEPC file folder is a little smaller than PC JEPC file folder (377 megs versus 378 megs) probably due to PC indexing taking up space on PC hard drive.

Hey Jim--I know this is an old thread but I got a new machine with Win 10. I had no problem installing the EPC onto the C drive but I preferred to have it elsewhere on an external drive. So I tried installing on my external F: drive and used the link for Drive F: and through experimentation, I found that the EPC would NOT authenticate unless the JEPCv3 folder was present on my C: drive. Not sure why this is the case but I tried various things and the EPC would successfully load ONLY if the JEPCv3 folder was on C:\ In fact if I removed the JEPCv3 folder from C:\ it would again be created after trying to authenticate from the F: drive install.

Any info on why this seems to be necessary?

Thanks,
Doug
