Gas Lid Door Spring??
Bare with me for a moment while I try to explain the situation. I brought my car into a shop to have some body work done and when I got it back, I filled up on gas a few days later. I noticed that my gas lid door seems a bit...loose. Not I don't drive my XJR that often, so I don't fill up on gas that often as it is. But I swear that the gas lid door also kind of "sprung" open and then when I closed it, it would "spring" shut. Now it just flops open and flops shut....so that when it is shut, it is kind of just loose sitting there, if that makes any sense.
I don't know if it has always been like this and I am just used to putting gas in my SUV (which has a "springy" lid door) or if the shop screwed it up somehow, even though they were not working anywhere near my gas lid door.
Anyone have any insight? Does your gas door have any "spring" to it?
