the 'gearbox fault' light is on in amber as is the 'high gearbox temp' light.
when i pull off it stays in the same gear (which i think is the limp home), and there is like a whine noise coming from the gearbox.

when im in park the light lights up the number 2 on the gear selector and when it in drive it lights up number 4.

anyone had this before and does it mean i need a new box
