Is the solenoids that go into the auto
Xj gearbox easy to replace and will this help to fix the problem with the gearbox

 

Welcome to the forum, please visit the new member area and introduce yourself. If you include the year and model of your car in the signature it will be easier for the members to help. I'm guessing that you have a XJ8 with a five speed transmission. Your problem is most likely A drum failure, but without more information that is not conclusive.
