Default good armrest 12v?

Is there a convenient 12v line to tap into inside the armrest? I'm looking to add some cigarette lighter power in there. Thanks!

Do you have a second 12v socket on the back of the center armrest (in the wood panel above the air vents)? If not, there will be an unconnected harness for it under the armrest cubby that you could use.

Nothing that I can think that would be a constant live, but I havn’t been in my doors to check.

I think you need to be more specific about where you're trying to put this.
Most people think of the arm rest being the cubby in the centre console between the front seats, which has one or two cigarette lighter/12v sockets in them already.

If you mean the arm rests in the door cards then you should be able to find a switched live feed going to the window controllers

Sorry, I meant the center armrest. I have a '98 XJR, if there's an unconnected harness in there, that would be great!

Should be, many had a 12v socket in the rear of the console for the rear passengers. However, it'll be a switched outlet, on with the car on, not a constant. There's a pretty decent harness through the console, there might be a valid constant 12v in there somewhere to tap into if that's what's needed, but I haven't looked for that so I'm just guessing at that part.

You can just tap into the existing cigarette lighter too
