I was washing the car today and while drying out the door jamb, one of the pieces of plastic on the greenhouse, at the bottom of the A pillar, ahead of the side view mirror, driver’s right, fell off. And by “fell off,” I mean “cracked into 40,000 pieces as though it had been struck by a cruise missile.” The price itself is not repairable, so I will need a new one. Pictured, below, since that word salad may not be a perfect description. Any ideas of what a part number would be, and how difficult this is to replace? Unfortunately it appears the piece degraded quite badly so I’ll have to try and clear out what remains, under the chrome trim. Alternatively, if anybody has a fix that isn’t precisely OEM but has worked for them, I’m open to the feedback. Can’t have this gap in the panels but also am not very keen on removing all of the chrome trim, if that’s the only way to replace it. Thanks very much!
It had already been a few years when I posted about it in answer to another members question. It still looks like brand new today after at least ten years, maybe as much as twelve so its holding up at least as well as the original. Granted my car stays indoors day and night and rarely sees any rain.
That looks brilliant. I will give something like that a go. Apologies to the forum for a duplicate post here - I had no idea what to search for in finding other answers. Thank you!

No worries. I had a heck of a time figuring out the search terms to retrieve my old post. There's no way you would have found it. You'd have to just stumble on it by accident. Here is little bit better photo from today (1/28/2024).
I think we would need a pristine example of one from each side (hens teeth), remove them both, 3D scan them and have them printed out. I’m just not sure how possible that would be.
