Default Grill badge mounting hardware inquiry ?!

Found a vintage badge but it has no mounting hardware anyone have any leads as to where to purchase ?! I'd rather avoid having to get stamping blanks & drilling holes & guessing screw/nut sizes etc.

Thanks

Post a photo of your badge, front and back...maybe someone will have an idea! If you find a similar badge on EBay, it may be worth the purchase for the hardware or just configure your own mounting hardware. I was just about to post an inquiry regarding views re grill badges, particularly on vehicles that have not yet reached classic status or mileage milestones. I just purchased a badge that came with mounting hardware. Will have to design some cushion so that it does not damage the grill.

Went w/ a different badge but similar scenario. Was going to just get a small rectangular metal plate & drill 2 holes like a cross member to support. But I think I can go w/ 2 washers for this one.

I think that you’ve got it! Depending on your grille, the cross member maybe necessary...it was for mine with the louvered grille.

Now my only decision is whether to clear coat it. It's 50+ year old aluminum & I'm sure it's never been exposed to harsh conditions like a grill badge experiences.

I would think that some sort of protective coating would be in order. My RAC badge has an enamel finish, so it should endure.
