headbolt torque specs?

Exclamation headbolt torque specs?

replaced bent valves on my dads 98 xj8 4.0 and im ready to put the head back on but cant find the torque specs and pattern for the headbolts anywhere, i searched but no luck.
if someone can help me out id appreciate it.

i found this site with everything else i just cant find the pattern and torque specs
Tmingi chain and tensioner replacement

10 6 1 3 7
8 4 2 5 9

1-hand tight
2- 15 ft/tq
3- 26 ft/tq
4- 1/4 turn

correct?

What Sean's pdf says and what I believe to be correct is your original post is missing a second round of 1/4 turns.

yep, after your initial 90, you do another 90. The M8 bolts are torqued to 17-20lb ft.

thanks for all the help guys, car is up and running he got it for 800 bucks with 50k miles.
after binging it home i did a compression test and 2 cylinders were 0 on bank b so i took the valve cover off and noticed a failed secondary chain/tensioner which meant bent exhaust valves.

What did you do with the bent valves cylinder head? use another head? I've got to ask if you replaced both secondary tensioners or just B bank?
