Headlight covers
I have seen comments that state it is wise to put a protective cover over the headlights to protect them from scratches and damage.
Is this a good thing to do? Is the film or a hard plastic preferred?
Do they alter the appearance?
I just bought a 99 XJR that I am very pleased with, and more so since my mechanic pronounced it as "pristine" at
82K miles.

use clear bra product for headlight, kinda think plastic covering for turn signal, headlights, and fogs. No uness you look close you cant see it. Unless you like to spend money on stuff. 1 headlight or fog light is more than the kit. You can DIY with a hair drier, or have a pro do it. The hard plastic is very old school, looks like crap, and dont even know if theyre still sold.
oh, and the pics of my ifs headlights in my sig, ae cear bra'd, can you tell?
