Default Headlight Glass

Morning

Does the headlight lens assembly come apart in a sensible fashion? The inside of the glass on mine is hazy and that causes a fair bit of glare.

Or is the glass cemented to the housing and difficult to remove without breaking things?

Thanks

Phil

Glass is glued to the reflecttor. Heat gun will soften the glue so you can pull the glass out. Heat the glue again and push glass back to it's place. I have not done this but others say it can be done on these.

That's promising. Thank you.

There is no way to separate the glass from the reflector and, even if somehow it is detached as one piece, there is certainly no way to push it back in.

It would seem as though the only fix is to fit new lamps. The plastic clips
on these ladies have not aged well so if you attempt to change the lamps
be extremely careful not to break the connectors. They are touchy!

Yeah, the PC+ABS plastic blend they used, particularly.
At least it glues well with cyanoacrylate.
