A few weeks ago, my hood wouldn't unlatch on the passenger side. Following info on posts, I was able to get the hood open and discovered the plastic latch broken, allowing the cable to fall off. Did a temporary fix using a zip tie. Looking on ebay, I see some listed as l&r, and one saying it fits either side. Anyone have info on this ??

I'm pretty sure they are interchangeable...remove your plastic escutcheon covers and you'll see. Take the bad one out and check the part # to confirm your concerns. Shouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes.
