How do I open the trunk to my Jaguar if the battery is disconnected?
How do I open the trunk to my Jaguar if the battery is disconnected? i was restarting the computer so i unplugged the batterey, but the trunk locked now i cant open tip said he trunk what can i do. The dealership said locksmith, and the locksmith said dealership[/align]

Two options: Positive terminal stud (under insulator), on firewall under the hood - passenger side; jumper cables (positive to the terminal stud, negative to clean bare metal anywhere), presto, power. Or, remove license plate, holes under it on trunk lid allow thin long screwdriver to trip the boot latch.

It's above the right front top shock mount about 6" and to the rear about 6" and about 5" from the right front fender. There will be a thick electrical cable leading to it and the stud and connector is covered with a rubber cap.
