Question How to make door shut tighter?

I've noticed recently (though could have been a problem for much longer) that my driver's door has about a quarter of an inch more that it could go when I shut it. You can actually see a little of the door jam stickers/plates with it fully shut. Nothing seems wrong with the door or mechanism (latches, locks, etc), but I'm wondering what is the proper way to adjust it so that it closes tighter.

Inspect your door check & be sure it's still drilled into door frame. It's the lever in between the door & chassis they @ times come lose from the base. Also check that your weather stripping hasn't come ajar & preventing a seal.

I will check that tonight. I do know that the door operates as if it's fine. The door strap was one of the first things I replaced when I bought the car. I'll check it anyway, just in case.

See my edit concerning the weatherstripping.

The position of the striker on the B-post should be adjustable (to a certain extent). Loosen the two bolts holding it and see if you can move the striker inwards.
