98 VDP has 81432 (as of this morning). I'll keep it for a long time. Had MANY cars over the years (still do), but this thing is something else. I have four other cars, and three bikes to choose in the morning, and I drive the Jag most of the time.

About 135K on mine. I've recently dumped enough $$ into it that it will need to at least get twice this... we'll see! I have no choice.

Default Milage on 1999 XJ8 VDP

Mine has JUST passed 36,000, OOPS that not what you wanted to hear is it ??? But similar to "Danielsand" I have 3 cars, 2005 Crossfire STR6 and a 2011 Camaro SS, BUT I drive my Jaguar on a daily basis, absolutely love it, nothing better.

2001 XJ8 156,000 miles, new tensioners ,engine purrs, transmission was replaced last month with 50K mile used unit I bought here from a forum member, smooth as silk. Original transmission had the 156K miles and HAD NEVER BEEN OPEN AT ALL or fluid changed by previous owners, will perform an autopsy in the coming months when I get some time, bought it July 13 this year. Drive veryday to work and back truly a pleasure to drive.

120K miles on 2001 VDP. Daily driver. Original tranny and Nikasil block. I'm the second owner and I think I have fixed all the things the PO neglected or screwed up.

i think from the responses i have seen...there is great variance (even by year)....as to what is on the clock and currently running....i bought mine recently....2000...absolute mint....but with 107k on the clock....i have one 85 xj6 and have owned an xjs....

i hesitated at first...but the car was a one owner garaged (which was apparent) but came with all manner of jaguar service/maintenance certifications....so i took the plunge....

this car is the best by far....and i don't use it as a daily driver.....which makes me enjoy it all the more when i get into the drivers seat...

160,000 on my 2002 XJR.
In the 60k since I've owned it:
Thermostat
S/C idler pulley bearing
Fuel pumps
(And I just did the plugs but that's a normal wear and tear thing)

Prior to me I know some coil packs were replaced.

Thinking of changing the fluid in the "lifetime sealed" tranny soon though.
