BTW, have you seen an optometrist lately? I have no problems with the speedo at all.

Also try turning on the running lights to illuminate the instrument panel during daylight hours if your vehicle does not already do that with DRL.

I feel I should point out at this juncture that HUDs of any sort are extremely cool, and enable one to play Firefox ("You must think in Russian, Major!") as one drives along. Winning! ;o)

Yes to both Plums! I am one of those annoying people that drive with the fog lights on....It is recommended here- been seen be safe. And yes to diminished vision due to age.(short) But of 6 registered in use vehicles it is only the Jag that throws up this problem.
I emailed jagwrangler and Steve thought a HUD would be worth investigating,if anyone could come up with a solution he would be the man (IMO) Not to suggest that the replies have not been useful. And as jimgoose says they are really cool as well as functional.You will buy one when I post a Pic of how good this idea is!!!
