No worry, I only collect info on people who own me money .

But if I am not mistaken, this was your car when you bought him / her/ it.

Yes, on the chrome I used a product called Peek which a forum member recommended. Followed by the Pinnacle souveran paste wax which just wipes on then off leaving behind a beautiful shine!

Thank you! Just wait until I show the interior once my wood comes back from restoration and the custom floor mats arrive. What has already been done to the interior is leather restoration, new plastic trim pieces for those that were broken or missing, new 3rd brake light, refurbished rear view mirror as mine had the dreaded separation bubbling, repainted black door handle inserts, completely new and upgraded head unit with blue tooth and USB port, tweeters and rear sub with amp to run it, new upgraded wooden shift knob, removal of center console Motorola phone and replaced with cubby, replacement door A-frame trim as mine had cigarette burns from PO on both front doors. I am happy to hear I am inspiring others! Go forth and restore these elegant cars to their former glory and beyond!

Looks absolutely fantastic Jennifer. I still think the Asteroids are the best looking wheels for the X308, your pictures prove the point.

I'm impressed by what you have done. Anytime you have a passion for something it doesn't seem like work, even though it is. I have six cars (I have a slight problem), and it is a challenge to keep them all on the road sometimes. I like to wrench as much as I can, but I know wHen to stop and take it to someone who has the tools, expertise and etc to do it right.

Keep up the great work.

Looks great! Can't wait to see the floor mats and refinished wood. Where did you send the wood for refinishing?

I highly recommend them, was a breeze to work with. You just wipe on and wipe off, easy peasy and the results are wow!

Thank you! I agree about the Asteroids. Poor Omgimali, he wants them bad. I have seen him post on every pic of an X308 that has them.

You are gonna die when you find out the deal I found. There's a seller on EBay that has different models of Jag interior wood trim for sale and they have all been refurbished and look great. I contacted them asking if they do the refurbishing themselves and if so how much for the 3 dash pieces and all 4 door pieces on my XJR. She replied saying yes does the refurbishment herself and her day job is working in a furniture restoration shop. Here's the real kicker....she only charged me $180 for my 7 pieces! I couldn't send my pieces off fast enough for that price! Lol

Love it.

Must say I'm a bit partial to these red one with Asteroids.....

Looking forward to one day getting all the little paint errors on mine fixed.
