99 XJR. I'm looking to get some more (alot more) power out of her. She's got 68,000 miles, and she's clean. Really clean. I'm looking to find the preferred or recommended aftermarket supplier of high-er performance Jaguar.

I would imagine I'm looking to do an intake, exhaust, ... not really sure, but I know I don't want to go overboard. I have NO intention of EVER bringing her to any track of any kind. I just want to feel more of a beast under my right foot.

I would love to get her over the 400 hp mark.

Any suggestions? Recommendations??

I believe that could have a nikasil engine it. You may want to test compression AND leak down of the cylinders before investing too much. If the bores are worn then dealing with that is best thing you can do for performance.

 

The car is pretty well optimized. Move the J-gate to 4 to keep it out of 5th-overdrive. This changes the character of the car and keeps "it on the boil".
