Update: I installed it and it needs 2 modules to avoid tripping the Check Rear Lights warning...


Where is the main brake power line and which of the rainbow of colors go to my actually brake lights?

This Kahtec module is pretty simple, but I dont want to start tearing things up and cutting wires w/o some specifics.

Here is a partial Rear lights Diagram showing the wiring for the Left and Right Stop Lights:

Look like power from the Brake Switch (Orange with Green stripe wire) goes into the the Security and Locking module. The LH stop light (Blue wire) and the RH stop light (Orange with Yellow stripe wire) come out of the Security and Locking module. Both LH and RH stop light have a black ground wires (LH ending up at BT20, RH at BT28R.

I think you may have a problem with installing the Kahtec because the power from the brake switch goes into the Security and Locking module and there are 2 outputs - one for LH and one for the RH stop lights (there is a bulb failure monitor in the Security and Locking module - Light Control). You might want to contact Kahtec to find out how it can be installed with the bulb failure monitoring.

You do not want to screw up your diagnoistic communications in your Jaguar.

Installed them... looks awesome... You need two modules. One for each light to not trip the Bulb monitoring system.
