Default Installing navigation radio I. A ‘05 jag

So I have a 2005 Jaguar XJ8 L, and I’m I stalking a navigation cd radio unit and taking ou the basic unit they have in it. Everything was good until down on the passenger side in front of the gearbox and kinda under the ashtray there’s a big grey plug on the harness that’s on the car has a bunch of wires running in it but on the wire harness for the nav unit only has one wire running into it and won’t power the u it just light up the CD player part. Can someone please help me as to what steps do I need to take with this matter.

Hi George, I notice it's your first post, you'll get the correct advice in the link (X350 model) forum below as your car is a slightly later model, with different systems,

Once you've posted in there, why not head over to the new members area and introduce yourself and your car - we're a good bunch that try to help, enjoy
