Default instrument cluster screws

Ok maybe this is a stupid question, but how the @#$% do you get the screws back into the holes after you take out the instrument cluster to change the bulbs? I can't get the screw positioned right in the hole down in that long narrow chamber. I struggled for like an hour before I gave up in frustration

I hear ya, I just did that.
A magnetic tipped screwdriver is your friend for that.

yeah I should have thought of that. I did, actually. I took a screwdriver I already had and rubbed it on a magnet, but it didn't work too well, and having no experience with magnetic screwdrivers, I thought that that was good enough. I will buy one. Thanks!

Ok so it's officia,l I am an idiot. Once I bought a magnetic tipped screwdriver the job took about thirty seconds. BTW I had CEL(check engine light) come on after everything was put back together, when I took it to autozone to read the code it was an aux elect. imput fault or something like that, once the code was erased, it didn't come back. The guy at autozone ( who oddly enough has an almost identical car to mine) said that it was probobly caused by unhooking the cluster. just FYI
