Default Interior Wood for my 2001 XJ8 Vanden Plas

I just got my 2001 XJ8 Vanden Plas back. It was awarded to my wife during our divorce. After I bought her a used Jetta, I finally got my big cat back. The interior wood looks terrible. Any suggestions? Can it be refurbished? Or is there an aftermarket kit out there that is half way affordable?

Interior trim for Jaguars is for sale all the time on FleaBay, for prices that aren't too bad.

There's a guy in Florida that refurbishes Jag wood and he does a great job - I had a couple things done by him, but, it is expensive - Britishautowood.com. You can probably find a lot on Fleabay as Boomer suggested for less bucks. Good you got your Jag back !

I would suggest checking this outfit out as well. We have used them for years to repair/restore veneer panels for our cars. I can vouch that their work is almost better than new; even with chunks missing from the veneer. Any wood repair is somewhat pricey, but they are worth it in my opinion.

Madera Concepts - Jaguars

Cheers,

Here is a TSB with prices from the age of dinosaurs.

Madera Concepts has been the repairer for a long time.

I don't know if the company is still the warranty repair provider for veneer.

Yep! That's still the place specified for warranty veneer work.

Cheers,

I have a full wood trim for a LWB X308 available. They are Daimler branded because they are from a 2001 Daimler Super V8. They have wood inlays and Daimler script on the instrument cluster piece. PM me if anyone is interested I am in the UK but could post world wide.

Sorry for the delayed reply I've been away from home since Friday evening. If you're seriously interested in the trim send me a PM with your email address in so I can send you some photos of the pieces.
