Default Jaguar logo ghost shadow light.

Attention purists: Do not read any further as it will only upset you..................seriously, stop reading.......................Still reading?!? Ok, consider yourself warned!

For everyone else, and those brave purists still reading, I have installed what may be the coolest mod ever! These shadow lights require some drilling on the underside of the doors and splicing into the wires for the puddle light rendering the puddle light inoperable but who needs a boring red puddle light when you could have all this awesomeness!!
i am seriously loving these. I originally was only going to do the 2 front doors but I love the effect so much I am doing all 4 doors! This pic was taken in my garage before the sun came up.

Yeah, I think they are cool too.
Considered them, but never got to order them.
Did you buy the small cylindrical ones?
Supplier reference?

Yes, they are the cylindrical ones made by Cree. I purchased off of EBay. Here’s a link:

I like it, although that looks VERY bright!
Do you know if there are dimmer versions? I guess you could always put some window tint film over it or something too. Being LED I'm assuming it doesn't get hot?

My idea too, was thinking some colored film to get it in line with the rest of the car, greenish or blueish ...

If you could integrate it into the outside mirror you could show all the time . Planed on doing this before but I see someone is marketing it . May have to repackage it to fit inside mirror . Design is still in dream stage .
