Lightbulb Jaguar XJ8 ABS Troubleshooting, Wheel sensor cleaning - Video

I'm trying to figure out why the ABS system on this 2003 Jaguar XJ8 is not working. I decided to try cleaning the wheel speed sensors first. This video will show you that you can clean these sensors without removing the wheels.

Good safety points noted. You might want to show a before and after when you clean the sensor. Nice.

Thanks.

Looks like I'll be going to the next step, pulling the module. Darn thing looks like it's wrapped on the lines. I don't like pulling those metal brake lines and getting all the air in the system. :/ The dealer here actually ships them off to be rebuilt. I was told they are $800 rebuilt and $2,800 new. Ouch!!!

Pulled the ABS module today and repaired the bad solder joints. I did NOT open the module, just drilled 2 holes in the right spots. Soldered through the holes and the system is now working properly.
