I have recently purchased a 2003 XJR with a number of issues; the most pressing being needing a knock sensor. I have changed some over the years on my VDPs and I'm checking to see if the XJR sensor are the same? When looking online I have seen some that look quite a bit different. So the question is; are they the same sensors? I have attached pictures of the two I have seen...is it knock 1 or knock 2? Thanks a bunch!
I have knock sensors for a '05 4.2 in mine, ...they've been in since '18 with no issues. You need to search around, because you can find deals usually, but you have to hunt. I found mine at NAPA for a ridiculous $67 ea.
