Default LH Indicator Arrow on Dashboard

My LH indicator arrow on the dash has packed in, lights still work and flasher unit still clicks at the proper speed. Does anybody know if it is a simple case of dash out and replace bulb/LED? Local dealer has looked at the parts diagrams and isn't sure - great help! Any advice appreciated.

sounds like a dead bulb, to take the instrument cluster out is easy, there's how to's if you do a search. If you're going to do it, change them all.

I changed 8 bulbs earlier in the year - 4 of each type - only thing is that I did not think the arrow light was one of those 8. I thought they were dials and guages? Happy about pulling the cluster out - just don't want to do it to find it is an LED or something and then be carless while the dealer tries to find one.

Ah - the plot thickens - on the drive home I was doing a bit of investigation and the blue mainbeam light is inop too. Being summer and not driving in the dark much that could have been out for months. Would still be grateful to know if anybody knows if they are bulbs or LED and a part number maybe? Thanks

My side lights tell tale is out - that's an LED, but I *think* the indicators are bulbs...some are, some aren't, it's a case of trying to find out which is which

Maybe swap one of the smaller type from one side to the other?

As for being carless, it takes 10 mins for removal and install. Just make sure the battery is disconnected while doing it.

Thanks for the info.
Had the cluster out and cleaned the bulb contacts - all fixed.

Just to clarify for people:
Indicator arrows and blue main beam are small bulbs and easy to change.

Basic instrument pack (IPK) removal goes as follows,

*Move the steering wheel as far out and down as possible.

*Disconnect battery, but leave trunk open (to prevent being unable to hook it back up)

*Grasp the wood between the clock recess with both hands and tug it forwards towards the wheel, it should pop off it's clips, you'll need to remove them and reseat them back in the black plastic shroud for re-install.

* Next is to remove the plastic shroud - four posi/philips screws 1 at each corner, it helps if the screw driver has a magnetized tip.

*Once the shroud is out of the way, there's 2 clips on the lower base of the IPK, depending on year they or either black and white and simply pull out, or yellow and black and have a leaver release catch and pull out.

* on the backside of the IPK are twist bulbs that can be replaced.

Assembly is reverse of above.

Hope this helps.
