I can't seem to find this part anywhere. LNE 1662AB

Jag wants to sell the whole throttle body.

Does anyone know a Denso replacement part? This one 3 Torx screws holding it in.

Jaguar does not sell them .... no one else ..... it's the holy grail of parts

 

So when they rebuild these throttlebody's, what do they do with that sensor?

 

 

When I inquired -- they indicate a repair. Maybe they have used ones.

I had a 30 year friend who was head of parts for a very large Jaguar dealer -- Jaguar did not want to sell the part because of the complex nature of the assembly and it's importance. Even with all the warranty work -- it was supplied as an assembly.

 

Someone in China must be making them

 

Definitely china but you can gamble with a used OEM one or new aftermarket at an affordable price. I covet Denso over all others but we’re talking well over a grand for a new OEM TB.

and not about the TPS (2 bolts):


There are many China made TPS-s (2 holes) on Ebay (one of the cheaper ones - https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Throttl...53.m1438.l2649) but it seems that the three hole ones have not been cloned yet. There is a used 3-hole one at https://www.ebay.com/itm/JAGUAR-XK8-...-/153338456279.
