Aloha, this is my second post and I'm so thankful for this forum. I have a 2000 xj8 4.0 I don't know the mileage but that's on my first post. My problem is the car runs great until I really get on the gas. It starts to surge like it's not getting enough fuel. No matter if I'm going slow or cruising at 60. I have a new fuel filter that is going in this weekend. Wondering if it's the fuel pump or if anyone has had this happen to them. As long as I don't get into it it runs great. I really want to just put my my foot into it to get that adrenaline pumping at 140 if it can. Thanks for any help. Douglas.
