I recently did an injector service. I had to remove the intercoolers and supercharger when putting things back together here is the sound it makes link to my YouTube.

 

Sounds like a nasty vacuum leak. Time to do a smoke test or at least spray brake cleaner around and see if the noise changes. Blower lid o rings where it meets the intercoolers is famous for that.

 

What's the smoke from in the beginning of the video?
Have you tried removing the supercharger belt and see if the noise disappears? Kind of seems like you have it pinpointed to the area Addicted2boost mentioned above.
That exhaust sounds really nice.

She pays no attention to my 'ramblings' on the forums but she DOES love to drive all the VWs and Jaguars that I keep running in the 'vehicle-stable'.

At present count there are 6 Jaguars (3 sedans, 3 convertibles) and 3 VWs (plus the Chevy Farm Truck/Trailer/Feed Store combo) for her to choose to drive.

A salvage yard on a goat ranch is always a plus. (but she does hate the 'junk-cars' until a favorite needs parts!)
