Default Low budget exhaust mod? DONE!

Hi there!

I've been wondering how I could get some better sound out of that puny little 3.2l V8 at the front and thought it would take some cash, or better a lot of cash, to do so. Well, not really.

It's quite surprising how much a pair of new tailipipes can change the exhaust tone... After removing the small oval Mercedes-like tailpipes and adding the 100 mm (4") diameter pipes, the exhaust note is a LOT better! Sounds more like a V8 now than before... I know they aren't everyone's taste but heck, I like 'em and am happy to have some pipes that finally fill the entire opening instead of a little section...

Here before on the fugly oval tips:

And here on the huge stove pipes:

Cheapest exhaust mod ever? Probably! Only cost me the adapter pipes (from around 2" to 2,5" diameter) and two clamps (€2/each). Result is quite okay. I'm not kidding. It is only a tip change...

Sound is a lot better. So, try new larger tips

'gards

Damien

Only thing about it that would drive me nuts is sticking out past the bumper. I know I'd smash some shins walking around the back. Can't wait to check the sound out on my home PC tho when I have actual sound.
