I just pulled this out of my 01 XJR. Everything I've read says to spray two wires that apparently should be seen, but I see none. If I look up into the sensor, I *think* I see filaments but I'm not sure. Does this sound normal, and should I spray the cleaner up into it?

 

The little black teardrop thing on the end of the thin piece of metal is the sensor. It should be slightly see- through (but still very dark). If it's opaque (most likely on one side), then it's dirty, and you can clean the glass and the metal with your spray maf cleaner.
