Default Moonroof and driver door glass need sync'd

My 2000 XJ8 has lost the limit settings for the one touch opening on moonroof as well as the driver door glass is stuck up? In past times I pushed the switch on the roof when open and held the switch depressed for 20 seconds. That restored both the window and the moonroof. Now once I let go of the roof switch,10 seconds later it closes. If I switch to vent it closes 10 seconds later. This happened after I turned the key in the door to auto close all windows and moonroof? Should I touch the 2 battery cables together or am I trying to sync the wrong way?

I'd pull fuse #15 from left drivers side heel board fuse box & reinsert. I've had luck w/ that before.

I fixed it ! I simply touched the battery ground cable to the positive post. I reset the clock and the aftermarket radio. Back to normal. I will lube the driver door lock cylinder as using it seems to be the cause.
