Default Mrtexasdan mafs throttle body cleaning instruction

Yesterday my friend and followed mrtexasdan's cleaning instructions for on my 03 xjr and it worked great. Did not do the part load breather yet because I want to have a spare handy incase mine breaks. Here is the link. You may have to register on the site. Instructions should work for the N/A motors too will try my dads 03 xj8 this weekend.

excellent information. I have cleaned other vehicles MAF sensors before, but never had a detailed doc to provide the procedure from.

Thanks, this is great info. BTW, those plastic hoses do get brittle. I broke my partial load breather hose when removing it to clean the breather. I wrapped it with elec tape and ordered a new hose. Hose came, I looked at where it disappeared near the throttle body and decided to leave it until I need to disassemble some other stuff.

I found this very good. I'm getting better fuel economy on my 2002 XJR100.
