Kitty is at home! Finally!
as for the fixes, gearbox feels awesome, drove with it about 50km for now, tomorrow will take a longer trip. It is very smooth, i would say little noisier then it was before the oil change but just normal whirling, no weird noises.
Suspension and all those weird things on front arms are replaced and car drives now very smooth, no clacking anymore. Will write more as i will have chance to test it.

If I would be in your shoes, I'd take the Cat to d'Cote (Cote d'Azur). Marseille and Monaco are beautiful this time of the year. Germany is miserable.
Many moons ago, I read an article about "Taking the Cat to d'Cote", and just HAD to do it with my XJS. 65 miles east of Marseille, on the pristine winding road, and the big Cat loved it. Turned the town upside down,.......Saint-Tropez will never be the same!

Ahhh,.....getting old, too many memories.

Well,....I like the Fall (my favorite time of the year!). And the Fall in Provence, is something to see. Warm during the day 65-72F, and crisp at night (45-55F). Short sleeves during the day, and suits and overcoats at night (perfect for going out and PARTY!).
If you get cold, just head south to Lisboa,....plenty warm in November!

Nice to hear you've got your pride & joy back and that it's driving great-it soon takes the pain of the repair bill away

Sometimes I like to go to the front door just to look out of the window at my Jag-I've even taken the seats & interior door panels out just to clean & vacuum everything so the interior is like it just came out of the factory new

And of course I just had to polish the engine components & the supercharger intercoolers

they didnt charged me anything for fixing the gearbox and the front axle repairs were in the end cheaper then i expected so i have about 1000€ left to get the gearbox redone at ZF in few weeks and for some smaller repairs i will need. Xmass will be poor, but i will just sit in her and listen to music.
In March then comes new tires and maybe even wheels and then will start saving for the new paint. kitty is like new now, feels close to it.
