It's been about 10 years since I did a PDI on the X308 but it looks like the transit relay wire.

NOT EVERY WIRE NEEDS TO BE PLUGGED INTO SOMETHING!

There are lots of connectors that go to options or devices required for other markets in the world. There are alot of things not installed on every car.

Tape it up and ignore it.

Here's what a Transit Relay looks like:

No owner ever sees one of these! The lead should be tucked away behind the carpet.

What is that sticker with the man running away from the open Luggage Compartment?

That'll be the Hostage Release Tab, the USA markets require HRT in their boots/trunks, also Italy.

So then, how do you keep a hostage in your trunk??? I guess you need to knock them out. You would think the Government would prefer to hold an awake hostage in the trunk over the possibility of lawsuits over knocking them out. And of course, you always run the risk of brain damage, etc... Hmmm, not sure what the gvmt was thinking.

My guess is bound and gagged, are there instructions on how to do this correctly (avoiding ligature marks, chaffing etc, again to avoid law suits)
