I have a 98 xj8 and am confused on whether my new sprint sell phone will work with this car, as far as making it hands free and calls picke up through the radio if i understand correctly.

You need to add a bluetooth phone hands free car kit, wired into the stock phone wiring, such as the Motorola T605 - several threads here describing the process. Search "bluetooth"

new in this forum so please be cute with my stupid question...I've recently bought on ebay a Jag-motorola phone (with installation kit) for 1999 XJ8... I can not see the slot for the sim card ... how can I use this phone?

Don't know about Italy but no US cellphone service provider will connect to the '99 phone. Old technology.

BTM-222 will connect the us motorola phone to any other of mine? So the car-phone will work as a duplex?
