Going to replace interior mirror with light sensing mirror other than stock, as it is dark all the time and rear window is tinted and hard to see out rear window.
I need the wire colors for the light sensor that turns on headlights when dark out.
My lights only work in the auto position and come on and stay on when the sensor is covered. (something in steering light switch)?
Does the wires from the sensor close or open with darkness? I will have to bypass the sensor so lights will come on. I have another mirror without the sensor and hope somebody can help with the wire colors to the sensor.

Why not just repair the wiring in the multifunction column switch??????????????

Usually a wire becomes broken/disconnected at a solder lug terminal on the switch.

Sorry But I am not able to doe the Work on the wiring, Just to old and have a heart problem that wont let me do things like that anymore.
The reason for an after market mirror is it is not tinted in the daytime.
